Small Town Sexy author, Kim Huston has been fortunate to share her passion for small towns making presentations to audiences from 50 to 500 people. She has traveled from small towns in Kentucky to major cities in Australia, each time leaving her audiences believing that you “Can Live Large in a Small Town.”

During her broadcast journalism years, Kim won several Associated Press awards for her feature stories based on events in her hometown and hosted the television program “On Location” that featured the places, events and characters in her county. As an economic recruiter, Kim has the opportunity to talk with companies and site consultants from all across the U.S about why they choose certain locations and what makes a small town a good place to do big business.
Kim Huston has served on numerous regional and state economic development organizations. She has been chairman of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development, chairman of the Lincoln Trail Area Development Workforce Investment Board and chaired the WIRED 65 Initiative that promoted regionalism by bringing big cities and small towns together to become a more competitive region. She also serves on the Kentucky Tourism Development Finance Authority, St. Catharine College Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees for Bernheim Forest.
